VITAMIN B COMPLEX - ORAL
COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Surbex, Theravite, Vicon-C, Z-Bec
USES: Vitamins are the building blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or terat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as directed. Food may affect the absoprtion of certain vitamin products.
Consult your pharmacist.
Chewable tablets must be chewed thoroughly before swallowing followed with a glass of water.
Timed-release capsules or talbets must be swallowed whole.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste. Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or becmoe severe. If you notcie other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: If you have diabetes, consult your doctor beofre using this medication. Tell your doctor if you're pregnant before using this medication. No problems have been reported in pregnant or nursing wmoen when this medication was used in normal doses.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor if you take any other medication, including nonprescritpion. This medication may affect certain urine lab tests, including some urnie glucose tests.
Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist aprpoval.
OVERDOSE: If ovredose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Symptoms of overdose may include diarrhea, loss of coordination; numbness of the hands or feet; joint pain, or painful urination.
NOTES: Three are many vitamin supplement products available. Some can be pucrhased without a prescription. Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the chioce of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose.
Instead, skip the missed dose and reusme your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store oral proudcts at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
